Abud-Dardaa reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Shouldn’t I inform you of something more excellent in degree than fasting, prayer and charity?” They said, "Certainly.” He said, "To reconcile people. Indeed, spoiling relations between people is [the basis for] destruction.
